What - Law Enforcement Bagpipe Band - Started in 2000 with a group ten members who had a mutual desire to serve our community and within two years have almost tripled in membership and we continue to grow today. As of today we have 55 members in the band. We are comprised of law enforcement officers who are employed or reside within the Hudson Valley Region and are of Irish descent and we are proud to say that we represent 32 law enforcement agencies.
Where - Hudson Valley New York - All of our members live and work within the Hudson Valley Region. As north as Kingston to as south as NYC. We represent 32 law enforcement agencies.
We have performed at County St. Patrick's Parades and Firemen Parades in Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Westchester, Putnam and Sullivan.
When - All year long - We perform throughout the year at numerous events such as:
Police Academy Graduations, Police Award Ceremonies, Police Retirement walkouts, Police Memorials, Candle Vigils, Funerals, Weddings, Retirement Parties, Holiday Parades and we even performed at a few bar mitzvahs.
Why - Being a Law Enforcement Pipe Band we have a mutual desire to give back to our Police Agencies, the Law Enforcement Community as a whole and our local Community where we live.
Bottom line is when the Law Enforcement Community needs us we are there to answer their call.
